I've got big news, guys! I have a page in the Mike Wieringo Tellos Tribute!
tl;dr: 500 pages, 200+ names in the industry, two volumes, all in memory of one man. Extremely limited run, they'll only print what gets ordered, no reprints. All money goes to the ASPCA.

Tellos is a comic series very near and dear to my heart. It's a story that came into my life in my late teens, at a point when I really needed it. This fantasy world brings together everything you love in a fairytale and puts a new twist on the classic tropes that will keep surprising you. Great characters, fantastic plotline, lots of funny banter in between high drama that'll make you outright weep. By far, my favorite comic.
Tellos was created by writter Todd Dezago and artist Mike Wieringo. Sadly, ten years ago, Mike suffered unexpected heart problems far too young. The last image posted on his deviantArt page was of Tellos characters, saying that he couldn't wait to start drawing these guys again. There was a sequel already planned.
When I met Todd at Albuquerque Comic Expo in 2013, he hinted at this massive project of getting a bunch of people in the comic industry who knew Mike to help him put together the story as a tribute. I never thought I'd get the chance to be part of that: to get to draw a page from my favorite comic writer, to get to illustrate my favorite character (Rikk the fox thief) in the process, to dig through the Tellos books and learn from Mike by imitating his designs, to be a part of Tellos in this capacity - is been bloody amazing!
I'm seeing previews from other artists, inkers, and colorists all over Facebook and these books? They are gonna be gorgeous! I'm honored and humbled for the chance to be in print alongside some truly stellar industry names.
